Are you interested in volunteer work and wish to serve as a new board member in support to the existing board of directors?
We are looking for:
- vice-president
- secretary; and
- treasurer.
Stichting Ambiente Feliz was founded in 1986 and receives a modest monthly subsidiary from the Aruban Government. Through the years the foundation has expanded and adapted their services to the needs of their clientele. The foundation consists of 2 locations based in Santa Cruz and San Nicolaas. We offer residential care on both locations and also daycare at our location in San Nicolas.
Our professional caregivers are dedicated in creating a safe and comfortable learning environment where our clients receive the opportunity to socialize and participate in various daily activities and thus become active members of our society in their own right. This beautiful work is done under the umbrella of a board of directors, at the moment consisting of only four members. However, we are dearly in need of some assistance as the scope of work is overwhelming the few board members available at this time.
For this reason, we are approaching anyone who is interested and willing to dedicate a little bit of their precious time as a volunteer, once a month, to serve as a support to the existing board of directors. You don't have to have any experience with people with an intellectual disability or multiple disabilities. However, someone with a financial or HR background or knowledge of labor law is most welcome. We can assure you that your talents will be highly appreciated by our board of directors and will increase the effectiveness of our functioning as an organization for those with an intellectual or multiple disabilities. Therefore, it is with great expectation we look forward to receiving a positive response from you.

The foundation consists of 2 locations. Cas Curason is situated in Santa Cruz and focusses on guiding the clients to become more independent by teaching them new abilities. Cas Briyante is situated in San Nicolaas and offers care to those with a multiple disability.
With the help of professional caregivers, we aim to offer our clients a better quality of life.
