After just a few weeks of training, you'll step into the role of an "Amistad" (friend) for one of our elderly members, brightening their days with your visits.
Our program, “Nos Amistad”, focuses on the loneliness of our elderly. The program lasts about 6 months and it is mostly split into two parts.
First 12 weeks:
You will get instructions from us on what you can expect with the visits. The Amistad and the elderly will be guided by a psychosocial consultant and a guidance expert through group discussions, with the goal of strengthening the elderly. You will also be shown how to handle the elderly with different emotions.
Last 12 weeks:
You will pay visits to your elderly buddy during the final weeks of the program.
The hours are flexible and we will help you throughout the way. Join us!
