About Fundashon Ultimo Deseo Aruba (FUDA)
We are Fundashon Ultimo Deseo Aruba (FUDA) and we fulfill the last wishes of Aruban bedridden terminally ill people who are staying at home, in a nursing home, in a hospice or in a hospital, free of charge. These people are dependent on special transport and guidance because they are no longer sufficiently mobile and need special care. Often the family cannot provide for this and fulfilling a last wish is not possible. These are sometimes small wishes that are of inestimable value to these people, but which cannot be fulfilled due to their limited mobility.
FUDA realizes these wishes with an ambulance where skilled medically trained personnel are always present. All wishes are fulfilled free of charge; the foundation bears the costs for everyone involved in the transport, in the ambulance. In addition to the person it is all about, there is room in the ambulance for 2 family members/friends and 2 volunteers from the foundation (driver and nurse). We do not only arrange the transport but the entire package of wishes.
We are looking for people who fit into our target group for whom we can fulfill their last wish.
