3x per week maintenance in the reforestation project and tree-nursery: watering, weeding, repotting, maintaining paths, etc.
Detailed description
'Ban Lanta y Planta' aka 'Trees for Aruba' is a volunteer organization with the aim of planting local trees and plant species to restore biodiversity, store carbon and raise awareness of the importance of trees (and nature in general).
Young local trees are grown from seed in nurseries and then planted with the aim to create a natural forest in which people and nature can coexist in harmony.
Volunteers water the young trees in the nursery three times a week and weed the weeds in the pots.
3 times a week the planted trees on site are taken care of and extra chores are carried out such as pruning, maintaining paths, mulching and whatever else is needed.
We can also use people on the board with skills such as of volunteer coordination, finance, social media.
