Summary

Weekly maintenance of the reforestation project: planting trees, watering, repotting trees, weeding, maintaining paths, etc.

Detailed description

'Ban Lanta y Planta' aka 'Trees for Aruba' is a volunteer organization founded in December 2020 with the aim of planting local tree and plant species to restore biodiversity, store carbon and raise awareness of the importance of trees (and nature in general).

Young trees are grown in greenhouses and then planted with the aim of creating a natural forest in which people and nature can coexist in harmony.

Volunteers water the young trees in the greenhouses three times a week and weed some weeds

Once a week (on Saturday morning) the planted trees on the site are taken care of and extra chores are carried out such as pruning, maintaining paths, and whatever else is needed.

We can also use people on the board with skills such as coordination of volunteers, finance, social media.
