Restoring the Aruba Peace Labyrinth & Peace Pole

The Aruba Peace Labyrinth, located behind the Alto Vista Chapel, has been a place of prayer, reflection, and relaxation for over 20 years. It is walked daily by many seeking peace and contemplation.

Since 2019, we have been restoring the labyrinth and its surrounding gardens through Aruba Doet. This year we will continue the restoration through the Aruba Volunteers initiative, working alongside Public Works’ Alto Vista beautification project, which began in early February."

2025 Restoration Project Tasks:

1. Garden maintenance – trimming branches, removing weeds, and general cleaning.
2. Labyrinth restoration – reshaping the paths and restoring the rosette at the center.
3. Installation of a new Peace Pole – a symbol of unity and peace.

Once the work is completed, volunteers will have the opportunity to walk the labyrinth together, fostering healing and peace in the world.

📌 Important Notes:

• This is an outdoor event in a sunny area. Please wear sunscreen, a cap/hat, sunglasses, and comfortable clothing. Plus Water and a snack.
• If possible, bring gardening tools such as a shovel, bucket, weed clippers, and gardening gloves.
