The Aruba Peace Labyrinth, located behind the Alto Vista Chapel, has been a place of prayer, reflection, and relaxation for over 21 years. It is walked daily by locals and visitors seeking peace, clarity, and contemplation.
Since 2019, the labyrinth and its surrounding gardens have been lovingly restored through Aruba Doet. Last year, the restoration took place for the first time through the Aruba Volunteers initiative, and we are grateful to continue this tradition again this year.
2026 Restoration Project Tasks
- Garden maintenance – trimming branches, removing weeds, and general cleaning.
- Labyrinth restoration – reshaping the paths, restoring the central rosette, and refilling the paths with sand.
- Planting – planting Aruba Aloe in the small garden in front of the labyrinth.
What You’ll Do, Gain & Contribute
As a volunteer, you will work hands-on in nature—restoring the labyrinth paths, caring for the gardens, and helping renew this sacred space. In return, you’ll experience connection, calm, and a sense of purpose, while sharing meaningful moments with others. Your contribution helps preserve a place of daily reflection and peace, creating a lasting impact for the Aruba community and all who walk this path.

This enchanting location offers a labyrinth for walking, providing an opportunity for contemplation, prayer, and self-discovery. The site is known for its positive energy field that fosters a deep connection with oneself and the natural world. Walking the labyrinth is a therapeutic and soothing experience that promotes healing. Additionally, the surrounding labyrinth gardens feature indigenous flora, enhancing the peaceful atmosphere of the space. As the saying goes, "solvitur ambulando" - it is solved by walking. Different activities like full moon walks, gratitude circles, yoga events and awakening storytelling evenings are organized at the labyrinth, making it a hub for holistic wellness and community gatherings.
