Are you energetic, outgoing, and not afraid to stand out? This is your chance to become DOETI, the official mascot of Aruba DOET 2026!
Are you energetic, outgoing, and not afraid to stand out? This is your chance to become DOETI, the official mascot of Aruba DOET 2026, the biggest volunteer event on the island!
What will you do as DOETI?
As our mascot, you will visit different project locations during Aruba DOET, spreading positive energy, encouraging volunteers, and bringing smiles wherever you go. You’ll help create a fun and inspiring atmosphere while representing the heart of volunteerism in Aruba.
You won’t be alone!
- You will receive a mini-training before your first official appearance.
- You will always be paired with someone who will guide you at the different project sites on DOET and other events.
- If needed, we will match you with a buddy/begeleider to support you during the day. Maybe you already know the perfect person to join you these days, let them apply here too!
Practical Information
- 📅 You must be available on Friday, 15 May and/or Saturday, 16 May 2026 (preferably both days). We also have other dates where an appearance of DOETI is highly appreciated!
- 🚗 Preferably, you have your own transportation or someone who can drive you to and from locations.
- 💰 Reimbursement of costs.
Who are we looking for?
- Someone who is between 150 cm and 170 cm tall.
- Someone enthusiastic, reliable, and comfortable interacting with people.
- You enjoy being in character and bringing energy to events.
- You love community engagement and want to be part of something bigger.
