Volunteer Opportunity: Music Teachers Wanted

Music Hub Aruba Foundation

The Music Hub Aruba Foundation is looking for passionate and committed volunteer music mentors to help bring music education to the community. This is your chance to make a real impact by sharing your talent and inspiring the next generation of musicians in Aruba.

Commitment

• Minimum of 4 hours per month
• Flexible scheduling (to be coordinated with the Foundation)

Responsibilities

• Provide basic to intermediate music lessons (instrumental or vocal)
• Support students in developing musical skills, creativity, and confidence
• Prepare simple lesson plans or structured sessions
• Participate in occasional community events, showcases, or workshops
• Create a positive, inclusive, and motivating learning environment

Requirements

• Basic proficiency in at least one of the following:
• Instrument (e.g., piano, guitar, drums, etc.)
• Vocals / singing
• Music production or songwriting (optional but valuable)
• Passion for teaching and community development
• Ability to work with youth and/or beginner-level students
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Reliable and able to commit to the agreed schedule
• Previous teaching experience is a plus, but not required
