Grab your gloves! 🌱 Join our dementia-friendly garden clean-up in Savaneta and help us bring new life to our green space. 🌸
What you’ll do:
Join our team to clean and refresh our garden! Volunteers will trim plants, remove weeds, add new soil, plant herbs and flowers, and help complete our small greenhouse by doing light woodworking — finishing planting boxes and wooden frames. A container will be available for garden waste.
Schedule:
The main clean-up runs until 12:00 PM, but those with extra energy are welcome to continue. At 12:00 PM, we’ll enjoy a local lunch together with our visitors.
What you’ll gain:
Hands-on outdoor experience, connection with others, and insight into dementia-friendly spaces while contributing to a calm, healing environment.
