Come help us distribute the Buki di Pret booklets at primary schools!
From June 16 to 26, 2026, we will visit schools in the mornings and ensure that thousands of children receive their own Buki di Pret – the starting point for a fun summer vacation.
What are you going to do?
Together with an experienced team member, you will visit primary schools. We will give you brief instructions, after which you will explain to each class or larger group of children what Buki di Pret is and how it works. Then you will hand out the booklets. It is a super fun and rewarding task, because the children are always enthusiastic and happy!
When?
- In the mornings on workdays (during school hours)
- Between June 16 and 26, 2026
- You are available for at least 3 mornings.
Who are we looking for?
- You enjoy working with children.
- You dare to speak in front of a class et
- You speak Dutch and English
- Do you also speak Papiamento ? Then that is a big plus!
What is Buki di Pret?
This is a free booklet developed by the Buki di Pret Foundation, filled with affordable or even free activities for children in grades 1 through 6 of primary school in Aruba. Many children in Aruba do not go on vacation, and we believe it is important that the children have a fun and educational holiday.

Every year we publish a free holiday booklet full of educational, sporting, educational, cultural and other fun activities on Aruba for children in primary school (grades 1 to 6). As a foundation we ask companies, organizations and associations on our beautiful island to help us organize a fun or interesting activity. We collect these activities in a booklet that we hand out annually to all primary schools on Aruba to approximately 9,000 children. Our goal is to offer children on Aruba a fun and educational holiday, where they can discover their talents. We do this with a small, committed and enthusiastic group of volunteers.
