Unite for a Cause: Be part of a coordinated effort to mobilize neighborhoods island-wide to clean up their communities.

Participate in the upcoming National Cleanup & Maintenance Campaign – Mi Bario Limpi, happening on November 9, 2024! Each group has the flexibility to decide when they’ll start their cleanup within the timeframe of 6:00 AM to 10:00 AM. We’re here to support you with essential supplies like trash bags and hydration, as well as a convenient trash pickup service during this period. Let’s unite to keep our neighborhoods clean and beautiful!

This impactful initiative brings together citizens, businesses, and organizations across Aruba with a shared goal: creating a cleaner and healthier environment. By joining forces, we can foster community pride and address the important challenges of waste management on our beautiful island.

Why Participate?

  • Unite for a Cause: Be part of a coordinated effort to mobilize neighborhoods island-wide.
  • Promote Environmental Responsibility: Help reduce waste leakage and preserve our natural surroundings.
  • Inspire Unity and Collaboration: Connect with like-minded individuals and organizations dedicated to making a difference.
  • Future Maintenance: To ensure that our efforts to keep our neighborhoods clean are not in vain, the Ministry of Nature is in discussions with the Public Prosecutor’s Office to implement sanctions following the national cleanup.

We are collaborating with esteemed partners, including ACF, AHATA, ATIA, Andina ICE, DNM, DOW, BCI, JDB, Ling & Sons, XFM, Serlimar, and Ecotech Aruba, to provide essential supplies like trash bags, gloves, and refreshments. Together, we'll ensure the proper collection and disposal of waste during the event.

How You Can Get Involved:

  • Volunteer Your Time: Join us on the day of the event to help clean up your community.
  • Spread the Word: Share this invitation with friends, family, and colleagues.
  • Provide Support: If possible, contribute resources or logistical assistance to enhance the event's impact.

For more information or to discuss participation details, please contact the Mi Bario Limpi Committee via email.

Let's come together to make a tangible difference in our communities. Your involvement is key to the success of this important initiative.

About Mi Bario Limpi

The National Cleanup Task Force is a dedicated coalition of environmental and community organizations, government agencies, and local businesses united by a shared vision of a cleaner, healthier Aruba. Each year, the task force organizes the “Mi Bario Limpi” event, a large-scale cleanup initiative that mobilizes neighborhoods island-wide to take collective action against litter and pollution.

The task force's mission goes beyond cleanup efforts. It strives to foster a culture of environmental responsibility by reducing waste leakage, preserving natural surroundings, and inspiring pride and accountability within communities.

With each annual event, the task force aims to unite citizens, promote sustainable practices, and build lasting partnerships to ensure Aruba remains a vibrant and pristine home for all.
